Animal Care

At Brearley Hall school, we’re fortunate to have animals featuring horses, pigs, and goats that live in the acres of land at Brearley Hall, these animals play a vital role in both therapeutic and educational experiences for our students.
Through equine therapy, students build confidence, develop emotional awareness, and strengthen communication skills in a calm and nurturing environment. Our animals also support learning across a range of subjects from science and responsibility to empathy and teamwork offering hands-on opportunities that enrich the curriculum. Whether feeding the goats, grooming the horses, or observing animal behaviour, students gain meaningful insights and lasting connections that extend far beyond the classroom.
